Here’s how smooth my S25 FE feels on One UI 8.5 after tweaking it with Good Lock. I tried my best to recreate the iPhone-style animations, and honestly, I think it turned out pretty close. What do you guys think, is it smooth enough?

iQOO 15 anti-reflective screen compared with the iPhone 17 Pro and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. A slightly different shade, but this is seriously good stuff.

With One UI 8.5, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra not only changes the camera shutter sound, but also seems to improve shutter speed. Let’s compare it with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, vivo X300 Pro, and OPPO Find X9 Pro. Which one do you think has the fastest photo capture speed? And which one has the best-sounding shutter?

One UI 8.5 QuickStar 👀 You can now edit the size of all Quick Panel tiles. ℹ️ Temporary limitation: The “Change quick settings button grid” option isn’t available yet on One UI 8.5 devices. (It’s expected to improve with the official release.) Repost

Latest One UI 8.5 on S25 Ultra... pretty basic UI issue not fixed since forever. Why do i see pin entering screen twice or thrice before unlocking?? This is the face of Android?

Samsung should straight away copy this animation from iPhone. The transition from lock screen to Home Screen is so seamless smooth and feels alive. Whereas Samsung feels like it’s confused what to show and even if it does smoothly it feels life less and plain. One UI 8.5 & iOS 18

Trying to turn on/off my internet on my S25 Ultra? Nope, the Quick Panel toggle is broken after the February update. Super inconvenient! First Major One UI bug I've seen. 😤

I love how smooth everything on iOS is ‼️ Left - iPhone 15 Pro Max. Right - Pixel 8 Pro.

I found an old screen recording from my iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 17 Decided to compare the animations to my iPhone 17 with iOS 27, and I have so many thoughts 😭 Overall, iOS 17 is INFINITELY smoother than iOS 27, purely due to its animation speed. Opening and closing apps is slow and elegant, accompanied by a beautiful wallpaper zoom. 27 is rough, fast, and lacks fluidity. For some reason, they got rid of the wallpaper zoom when opening/closing apps, making everything feel flat. All of that is paired with the atrocious performance of the iOS screen recorder that started with iOS 18 and still hasn’t been fixed. Notice how there are zero jitters on iOS 17, but both jitters and artifact on 27. This is not a hate post. I just wanted to share my thoughts. And no, this isn’t the problem of a “beta”. Stable iOS 26 has the exact same issues. Thanks 💔
