😑 This is why I requested the ability to change kickoff times and commentary teams. In real life, Texas vs Ohio State is scheduled for 6:30 CT on ABC But in the game it’s just another 12:00 kickoff. even though it’s listed in the game as the “Game of the Week”

It’s not great, but if just 2 of these passes are caught the completion percentage goes from 50% to 58.3%. These imo are the only 3 drops in the game. There were some PBUs where I thought the WR should have caught the ball, but these are 100% on the receiver imo. This why boxscore watching is stupid and doesn’t tell the full story.

A note last night in the first half. We really did play some excellent football. Whilst i know Ugbo is, rightfully, coming under some stick of his lack of goals, he offers so much more to how we play. As does Josh Windass, who I am noticing is just about getting the recognition he deserves from the fans. The play in the first half was very different to the second half when those 2 went off. They both offer so much more insofar as overall game than the other options we have in those areas. A few clips below from key moments in the first half. Windass really did run the show in the final third and build up. He comes out of areas to allow straight passes where he is an option for first time reverse balls. He and Pol have really good chemistry down the right as Josh knows he will overlap and beat his man. The awareness from Josh with scanning that i picked out, allowing for high tempo play into space. A note on data: First half vs second half Passes 193 (87% ACC) vs 159 (78% Acc) xG 2.04 vs 0.42 Penalty area entries: 11 vs 6 From runs: 4 vs 2 Touches in the box: 16 vs 7 Long pass rate: 8.29 vs 13.29 Passes per possession: 4.11 vs 2.96 Wedensday's overall game is so much better when U Our game is so much better when Windass and Ugbo play. I know Smith is scoring and credit to him. But we just dont have the mechanisms to control a game without Ugbo and Josh. We cant get it to the final third in control. This was true and there for all to see for the first 30 minutes of the second half. Hull dominated from 45-70 before they ran out of steam . Our game is so much better when Windass and Ugbo play. This young man on the mound, a senior in high school, started the game and threw one pitch in the game on senior day. The back story is that he was injured by a line drive in March ending his career with a brain bleed. The young man up to bat is a senior and the son of the mom who filmed this. He agreed to not swing at the pitch. They said there wasn't a dry eye in the ballpark. This game is so much greater than that little white ball! In a world of such chaos and hate, I love, love, love this so much.❤️ How can you not be romantic about baseball?

The 49ers biggest issue on Sunday vs. Buccaneers was not the defense. It was not Mac Jones. It was the offensive line. The bad news for the 49ers? It's not going to get any better because the Niners don't have the personnel to improve it and George Kittle can only do so much once he returns. The OL play is killing the Niners offense. It's the reason they can't run the ball, why they're bad in the red zone and why the pass game is inconsistent.
