BB came to my charity to help us promote a trek. Staff, were arranged around him for a photoshoot and Grace, our elderly administrator, was behind him. He asked her name and as the photographer was about to shoot, boomed 'GRACE, GET YOUR HAND OFF MY ARSE!'

I used to work in the Transmission Department at Discovery Channel. Brian was in the building for some meeting & on his way out we managed to get him in & have a chat. We asked him what he thought of Bear Grylls. His answer was 'He's a c..........t!' We loved him!

He once told me I was a better director than George Lucas, while I was directing him on a radio ad for a car dealer which involved him pretending his tallywhacker was stuck in a fridge. Happy days.

@Johnnypapa64 Absolutely adore him in anything. But when I found out the University of York had named “Brian Blessed Centre for Quiet Study” in his honor, I laughed as heartily as he might.
