this thing is obviously never going to exist and it is journalistic malpractice to pretend otherwise

What an absolute joke this "article" is. It reads like a press release from Elon himself and ignores the fact that it absolutely isn't happening at anything like the timeframe described, or far more likely, ever. Cool looking video, but next time try actual journalism.

It’s weird how you only need to charge a super conducting coil once. It essentially creates a circulating DC current forever with no energy loss.

@ericdunc Why??? The average American has lest than $500 in their savings & are finding it increasingly more difficult to purchase eggs. This is just another perk for the rich, while the working poor live vicariously through them.🤦🏽‍♂️👎🏾👎🏾⚠️

This is never happening. If you think it is, you’re a mark. And a dumb fuck. Stop spreading this.

In case of emergency, the hyperloop should be made to stop automatically. The external casing should be made of disaster-proof materials. E.g. terrorism. Safety is everything.

Pure fantasy, earthquakes destroy things in the earth. Land rights, you can't get them east of the rockies. Costs, this is another FEDERAL money orphan, taxpayers need $3 gasoline, not $40 Trillion of debt
