My first question on this poll is, why is the sample size so small. Not discrediting Selzer, but how does it get to that number?

And this is something that, even though it might seem negative, is actually positive, because it means that the people who have been following me for a year, it’s a big deal. I think different words exist precisely because they have different shades of meaning, right? That’s why there are synonyms. ‘Fandom’ and ‘community’ are two different things. I think that today the fandom has become a community, so people who were there, who were initially part of the fandom and then left, maybe because they didn’t feel like an integral part of it or they weren’t inspired by the community that was forming. So there have been changes, but in my opinion, positive ones. Even people who were overly fanatical, who weren’t really fans, have left. For me, that’s a good thing, because it’s healthier for a community when there’s a way of thinking that aligns with many of the other people who are part of the same group. So it’s fine this way, there’s been a bit of a clean-up. The change that probably happened is exactly this. Only a little bit more than a third of Americans, according to Fox News, actually approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing in Iran. The Fox News poll was one of the rare polls in which we had an even split early on in the war in terms of support and opposition. And now that support has plummeted. The opposition is up. It is very clear, no matter which poll you look at, that the American people are not with Donald Trump when it comes to Iran even if the MAGA base is.

There’s a lot here in this interview with Jared Moskowitz Moskowitz: Obama—he apparently was in charge of Russiagate. It’s not like they didn’t have four years when Trump was president and could have brought this to America’s attention. The DNI—Tulsi Gabbard—was asked about that, and she said, “Oh, well, there were people in the Trump administration that kept it from coming out.” Really? Well, if what they’re saying is a crime, then those people should be arrested, because that would be obstruction of justice within the Trump administration. And honestly, listening to my colleagues, they don’t even believe the shit coming out of their own mouths. They know he’s in the files. He was clearly very close with Mr. Epstein. His name is all over these files. All over them. So it’s embarrassing. And if you just look at the president’s behavior—“Oh yeah, we’ll release them,” and then suddenly it’s “It’s a hoax,” or somehow Joe Biden, while hiding in the basement, was putting Trump’s name into the files? By the way, if that were true, then the Democrats would’ve released it in the last four years of the Biden administration. This is a disaster of their own making—probably needs a FEMA declaration, if we still had a FEMA.

This woman lives in an HOA. The back of her yard backs up into an easement that is owned by the HOA. The trees back there are on the easement. She points out that there are fallen branches all over her neighbors yard because of the trees and there were many in her yard as well. So she and her children went and picked up all the branches and sticks in her yard and then she piled them up under the tree. She said since the tree is on the HOA easement, it’s their problem. She wants to know if she is the bad guy in all this. If it were me, I’d maintain my yard and put the branches and sticks out for the trash pickup. Do you think she is in the right and it’s the HOA’s problem? Or do you think she is wrong and is making a mountain out of a molehill and there are better hills to plant your flag on?

This was probably my favorite moment though. Pure entertainment. Kernen brought up Trump’s polling numbers, expecting to throw a little cold water. What followed felt more like a backyard argument between two dudes who both think they’re winning the fantasy league. Trump told Kernen he could run for President again in 2028 because his poll numbers are so good. Trump: “I’d like to run. I have the best poll numbers I’ve ever had.” Kernen: “That’s among Republicans.” Trump: “People love the tariffs. They love the trade deals. They love that foreign countries aren’t ripping us off anymore.” Kernen: “But overall poll numbers—” Trump: “What?!” Kernen: “Overall poll numbers.
