Seems to me that running is literally the process of moving away while only having one foot on the ground. How is standing on one leg and hopping any different?

the step potential is no joke. just keep your feet together and shuffle out, running is how you turn your legs into a circuit

Stand on one leg and hop. You'll look silly...but it's better than being dead.

What if you hop or keep your legs together, but you step on a junction between these two circles? Your foottips in one, and your sole in another?

Touching a metallic object is waaaay more dangerous than a step voltage. Physiological reality of much lower sensitivity to step voltages is in modern standards.

Running is the instinct. It’s also how you turn the ground into a circuit. A live line energizes the dirt in rings of voltage. Two feet apart = two different voltages = current up one leg and down the other. Shuffle with your feet glued together, or hop. Never sprint.

You can actually run. Just make sure you contact the ground one feet at a time, like a sprinter.

I finally have something that matches the effort I put in. That is a nice feeling to carry home.
