His comment was disgusting. He said, "No other group WANTED to build the Western Railroads." He actually said "wanted" erasing the fact that Enslaved Black Americans were building the shit for FREE & when we were freed, they needed someone else - they then hired the Chinese.

I don't think he was fully committed to that "Black people" line.

They came here VOLUNTARILY and were willing to work for less just like the Irish. His family's story is no different than any other immigrant "coming to America" story 🤷🏽‍♀️
