close enough, welcome back mirror's edge!

Like third person anime mirror’s edge

bit on the nose isn't it? with some of the stuff you're yoinking?

I'm not 'yoinking' anything, everything is made by hand by myself... as far as art style, I hope you hold all of the other existing games that look like each other to the same standard

my standard? I just said it was a bit on the nose. obviously it isn't enough for like a copyright lawsuit or something crazy. but yes my "standard" of noticing how directly copied the artstyle and setting is enough for me to leave a comment about it lmao,

GREEN PAINT! Hmmmm I wonder why the devs chose this very particular color 👀

it would be a HUGE missed opportunity if you, or if someone does NOT mod/add in a #AgnesTachyon skin/model from #Umamusume LMFAO

The mirrors edge influence 🥹

Is this going to be open exploration or more of a track runner?

Most likely a track runner

That'll be awesome. Can't wait for the speed run challenges!

Any timeline on release? Or a beta? Some students and I at the University of Utah's MEAE program would love to help test it.

@N_JKelley Not as of yet!

Is this game in need of a soundtrack?

Looks great! Reminds me of Mirror's Edge!

This is amazing, are you thinking of adding some kind of combat with this?

Not sure yet, depends how much time I have/if it fits in anywhere

Better a polished Parkour game than everything game. can't wait for it to come out.

I just added it to my wishlist! I love Mirror's Edge and look forward to this project advancing.

This looks exceptional. I’m making my own game, I am trying to get the fluidity you are achieving. What game engine are you using? What version (if it’s Unreal) as I am currently pulling my hair out in Unreal ;)

Unity!

Some of mfs acting like yall playing mirror’s edge in 2026.

is it just run around in a sandbox or is there an actual challenge?

Just a fun track at the moment, it's only been a month and a half so I'm still thinking about where to take the game while I work on finishing movement mechanics

i think multiplayer tag would be kinda interesting

@AshtonMonitor gameplay looks like trash compared to the one above

Anime's edge

Neat! Has a Mirror's Edge feel but it looks more fluid.

It's like Mirror's Edge except 3rd person so you can see where your feet are!

ik you're very early into the development but will there be a character creation or a set character?

@bruh4bruh2 Not sure yet, but I don't want to increase scope too much, it might just be her with some customization options

This game would be amazing! Especially with mod support for custom characters and levels!

Looks great!! Now it just needs to have a better storyline than mirror’s edge 😂

A mighty NEEEEEEED

(affectionate)

ea made mirrors edge in like 2008 and no other original parkour games have ever come out since

IF this isn't AI, it's the best demo i've ever seen. This is beautiful. It's literally Mirror's Edge but an anime version. I dare say, experiment with putting some simple combat in here.

Looks pretty good. Tachyon Flow seems not be a catchy enough name though. How about Mirror’s Edge since you are always on the edge of dying. I’m sure that name would work wonders.

Oh wow, you slightly changed Mirror's Edge, how original.

Inject this into my veins.

It got that mirrors edge vibe to it I'm digging it

Looks great, but perhaps a bit too similar to Mirror’s edge in some ways?

i love the mirror’s edge vibes but third person 🔥

Finally you are here!!! Cant wait to see more of this!!! Keep it up this project its just beautiful!

Awesome stuff! What are you using to animating the player?

Animations all made in Blender, put together in default Unity animator

Very cool! Happy to blender has come so far even as a maya user 😅

This looks amazing, definitely following this one!! :3

I like how you handled the camera motion that must have been very difficult.
