Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.

I'm going to try to make the Versus the best viewing experience possible. You can see here I am testing the scoreboard. I'm trying to get it so that the lyrics scroll with each song. I think that would be perfect.

I lead written socials at Lovable and today I built an AI clone of myself with Lovable and our new Slack connector. It proactively monitors relevant sources and reaches out to me when it finds an opportunity. I can also tag it with a post idea, and it will help write it. The coolest part is that it improves over time as I give it feedback! Below is how I built it.

Just tried something cool on my own app. I let my app generate a workout for me using the new beta mode… and it actually built a solid session based on my goals. The idea is simple.. instead of guessing what to train, you hit generate and the app builds the workout for you. Still early days but I’m keen for people to test it and tell me what you think. Just tested Grok for the first time, and It’s surprisingly solid at coding compared to other AI models. I used it to generate the logic for this web based 3D augmented reality Pong game, and it handled it well. This took a bit of back and forth but still pretty quick.

well, didn't die, but i kinda almost did. kinda scary and it was my first real "wtf I'm not invincible" moment. it honestly messed my head up, I'm still processing it and kinda depressed about it. today was my first day being able to do anything physical at all. I walked for 30 minutes on a treadmill. tomorrow I'll try some very light compound lifts just for movements sake. I'm not ready for anything heavy or a BJJ workout yet. i quit smoking and vaping, but now I'm addicted to zyn. at least my lungs work again though. thanks for all the well wishes and the check ups from my friends here and tiktok 🤙🏻
