Hi Fortnite Developers - please consider the impact balance changes have on currently live games in the space. Something as simple as reducing the max size of Shockwaves from 6 to 4 can create a major issue. In this scenario, people are able to spam the Shockwaves granter giving... themselves "infinite" shockwaves, especially players with a macro can exploit this to significantly lag the game intentionally the ruin the experience for others. While it's easy enough to load into the game and adjust the granted stack size to the new number - this is a change we shouldn't have to make super suddenly without a heads up or even knowing it was going to become a problem. An advanced notice on balance changes like this would go a long ways to preventing these issues.show more

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM? Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback Fortnite FortniteStatus Ted Timmins PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened? A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. So what’s going on with the recent updates to the RB21? Would you believe that it stems from an issue discovered in 2024 on the RB20? That’s right, rear end grip and overall corner balance has been a problem for the recent Red Bull cars as far back as 2024, and issues with the quality of flow in the diffuser. In certain high roll conditions, or at certain tracks, the diffuser was prone to big losses ultimately causing the entire floor to lose load. Recent updates have been targeting to bring this back to a more stable performing window. One added benefit of this is that a properly performing floor can bring better rear load without the aid of a larger inefficient rear wing for balance. As the floor is more efficient this can aid in overall car efficiency and top speed. I don’t think this is the magic pill to fix all their problems, but it sounds like the floor is providing all of the performance they had hoped for, and the signs are indeed encouraging. Maybe this will help Max to fight more at the sharp end with the McLarens? (Apologies for the poor audio from the wind at the start)

This object seems to continue on with a very consistent size and shape after impact. Why no loss in size or apparent shape change? It should elongate in the vertical access as it falls to the earth as it depressurizes and more material becomes available to act as a flag.

After having an amazing stream tonight, it sucks that I have to bring attention to the Elephant that was dropped off in the room this morning. With Tofu Chris needing take a break from socials, due to unwarranted backlash, I felt as if this was my breaking point with a problem I've seen going since chapter 5. The hyper-fixation of negativity in the Fortnite space is something that has not just been wearing on me, but my small little slice of the community as well. I love Fortnite, the devs that work on it, the content creators I've met, and the many lifelong friends this game has given me, but there is clearly a huge issue with the community consuming drama. So over the years as a Content Creator for World of Warcraft, I've picked up a few great camera tricks that can make your footage look more professional. Not sure how widely known these are but I'll share some that I know and hopefully it will be helpful to someone! So firstly, let me show you how to do a smooth rotation shot. You're going to want to create a Macro for this with this script; /script MoveViewRightStart(0.15) To modify the direction, you can change the word "Right" to Left, In, Out, Up or Down. The number at the end indicates the speed of the rotation, the higher the number the faster the rotation. I tend to keep this fairly low for a nice non-sickening rotation. Now you can combine as many of these as you like. So if you wanted a smooth shot that zoomed in on your Character while rotating Right you would make a macro like this; /script MoveViewRightStart(0.15) /script MoveViewInStart(0.15) It is fun to play around with but you will also need to create a "Stop" macro. He’s screaming about how you’re the problem if you let people hurt young children (in many ways). While his message is something you agree with, is this the time or place to have it. Could this man have used his passion for the subject in a better way and do community outreach. Or was this a mental health episode!?! How can we really tell anymore these days. What Europe does extremely well for their players, is give them a SOLID FOUNDATION of understanding team basketball, give them freedom to build their Individual Skill, and make every game Meaningful Something. That Foundation is simple to teach, we don’t do a good job of it in America. In top of that, when players don’t do the little things, we don’t hold them accountable to them. When the best ones get to the next level where their talent/skill is even, they can’t get on the floor or impact winning bc of this. By sheer numbers we’ll always have Size/Speed/Athleticism and Skill to choose from.
