she's got the look on her face that we humans get when we got nothin left in the tank but spirit.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but 12-step programs lead you to a lifetime of talking about the monkey on your back rather than focusing on the work one needs to do to no longer feel the need to self-medicate. You give power to whatever you talk/think about. You give it energy. You keep it alive. Better to peel your onion and grow.

My next chapter i won’t be known as a human trafficking survivor…I’m ready to go live a private life and leave all that behind

I gather that what she’s been through has consumed her life so much that she’s struggling to find herself or know herself at the moment. Kinda like us in another way this has consumed us for a long time. We need to water ourselves and find ourselves I think it can happen fast.

When you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, you can begin life again. She's there. A new beginning.
