They are the only species of snake protected by law in Zimbabwe. KiIIing one can result in a jail sentence and a fine. When you encounter a python, treat it with respect because, aside from the legal consequences, a large python can inflict serious injuri€s that may require hospital treatment. They bite only in self-defense and have multiple rows of super-sharp, curved teeth that can cut the skin like a knif€ and cause serious bIeeding. They are capable of cutting arteries and nerves. Pythons just want to be left alone. There are no documented cases of pythons kiIIing and eating people in Zimbabwe, but there are documented cases of people receiving serious injuries from python bites. These birds are ridden by Blinding Arrow soldiers. To obtain one as a temporary mount, you must defeat the soldier, then quickly chase and mount the bird before it runs away. Kuku Bird Hatchlings can be used to glide from tall heights and land safely on the ground. You won’t be able to fly upward with the Kuku Birds, but you can control the direction while falling.

In the name of religion and culture, extreme level of degradation is being witnessed in Vinayaka Nimajjanam in Telugu states. The Vizag Dance Group was seen “dancing” at the Nimajjanam procession in Hyderabad yesterday with a python and chicken. Young women/ teenage girls being made to dance like this has now become a part of the celebration. Python was added as a special attraction. The police tracked the group for five days and caught them last night. Greater Hyderabad Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GHSPCA) and Madhuranagar police rescued the python and a chicken from the dance group. Officials identified that the python was suffering from severe mouth infection and placed it under veterinary care. The python and the chicken were saved. Meanwhile, girls who are forced to eke out a living, dancing like this has been normalised. Someone the other day argued with me that these girls are at least earning a decent living, they can feed themselves…but no one will agree how utterly pathetic the government must be that this the only way a girl can lead a life in 2026! Also! No one takes offence that this is considered culture but will lose their minds and give sermons on how women should dress.

Someone the other day argued with me that these girls are at least earning a decent living, they can feed themselves…but no one will agree how utterly pathetic the government must be that this the only way a girl can lead a life in 2026!
