High cholesterol = longevity?

Why don’t people ever tag me when they share this video?

LDL cholesterol is an important part of your immune system. That’s why it’s attempting to repair the damage to your endothelial lining of your vascular system. Your blaming the fire truck for starting the fire.

Strongly agree! My grandmother had "high cholesterol" under old higher standards. Lived to be NINETY NINE and did not die of cardiovascular issue. Also had NO ALZHEIMER'S!

Similar results from Korean study with over 12 million participants:

High cholesterol has been associated with longevity and Cognitive health. HDL must be high. Triglycerides must be low.

“One thing that absolutely shocked me was that dentistry controls your cholesterol level.”

Just fell in love more with my daily eggs and bacon! ⚓️

There is different type of cholesterol be precise

What about high ApoB numbers along with high LDL ?

I love how nobody knows anything but act like they do. Cholesterol is bad. Now it’s good! Hilarious. 😂

Yes! 300-350

Eat more eggs, don’t worry!

I honestly don't know what should I follow now @paulsaladinomd. How about heart attack?

👍

@grok is this true

Cholesterol is protective against disease. sugar causes disease

While you are correct about good and bad cholesterol, the overall message of high ldl cholesterol being health promoting is dangerous misinformation. Why do this? Making money online while putting people at risk —smh. @Drlipid @drpablocorral @DrNadolsky @drterrysimpson

It’s almost like the opposite of whatever ‘they’ say is actually true, pretty much every time! The big, authoritative, immune-from-questioning, nebulous ‘they’ don’t seem to have longevity as one of their medical goals!

I was just telling my mom this today and sent her several studies to read.

En la dw están dando un reportaje de la dieta mediterránea, culpabilizan a las carnes rojas de la inflamación, del cáncer y de la demencia. No tienen perdón de Dios por la desinformación

My blood work has always confused me because of the good vs bad cholesterol warnings and elevated ratio between the two. @paulsaladinomd what do you make of early 40s male: Total cholesterol: 234 HDL: 48 LDL: 171 Triglycerides: 59 Non HDL Cholesterol: 186 hs-CRP: 0.2 Glucose: 81

ChatGPT says the Sweden study does not show that low glucose makes high cholesterol ok regarding heart disease.

And how did that carnivore diet treat you? Still selling your book?

What podcast was that, would like to watch?

I have hypercholesterolemia. My cholesterol stays above 400 year round. Funny enough, my testosterone stays above 700 year round as well. I'm way healthier than my peers.

@grok True?

@ZackStrength

The doctors liked to tell me your ldl of 145 is too high when my hdl was very high, triglycerides were always below 100. That sure is soul crushing when you’re rocking and rolling and then they said I was headed to heart disease.

AMORIS is, useful, and generates hypotheses, but it is not clinical proof that cholesterol protects longevity. The age-dependent associations are biologically plausible, but they don’t overturn fundamental lipid biology or randomized cholesterol-lowering trial evidence.

Hilarious

Seeing as you are asking why why why, why then do people like me who have FH which gives abnormal LDL cholesterol, if untreated 50% of them have a heart attack by 50? Listen o am not a fan of statins but there is correlation stop pretending you know all the answers with unscientific comparisons please

Still grifting after all these years...
