Highlander: The Series Who remembers this awesome show?

One of my favorite 90s shows.

HELL YEAH— 🎵 Here we are… born to be kings… we’re the Princes of the Universe 🎵 Now Henry Cavill will play Connor MacLeod in a reboot of the tv/movie the franchise— let’s see if this turns out well because there can only be one!

Connor was the orange, but Duncan was the juice of the squeeze. Glad it's in the faithful hands of Henry Cavill, hopefully its boasts good numbers and we can get a reincarnation of Ducan on the big screen. Open suggestions for potential actors?

I only ever saw seasons 2 and onward. None of the stations I had ever aired the first season.

I still remember Methos trying to call out Duncan’s chivalry. “A couple of medieval songwriters come up with the idea of chivalry one rainy day and you embrace it as a lifestyle. You live and die by a code of honor that was *trendy* when you were a kid.”

It's on H&I every weeknight at midnight. The theme song is how I know its time for bed. I dont think a better theme song exists.

Forgot all about this. I preferred the movies though TBF. Is it worth watching again?

That first half of the series was pretty darn good... That 2nd half though...

I totally do. Miss these old shows. They were great.

I used to just call it 'The Clothes Horse", because homeboy Duncan was never wearing less than 5K worth of threads in any given scene, and strutting around like the modern Tony Manero. For the true Highlander fan, there really are only *two*: the original movie and the tv show. The other movies are all various embarrassing stages of messy abortions.

Remember it? I have a copy of the full series. Watched it religiously during original airing and then on reruns(on the treadmill at full blast), the Raven spin off too.

Every single bit of it. From the death of Darius and Fitzkern all the way to his beloved Tessa. I even own a duplicate of his sword.

I totally remember watching Highlander: The Television Series as a kid, especially when all the Highlander movies was at the time among some of my favorite movies to watch.

Awesome show with many great stories. Did the best building on the original movie. Still can't listen to Dust in the Wind without thinking about... yup.

I love 90’s shows and miss them. They just hit in a different way.

This was my favorite opening for the show:

One of my favourite shows. Loved the sword fighting sequences and the way they expanded on the mythology of the immortals by adding things like The Watchers and characters like Methos. Connor was always very world weary but Duncan was someone who enjoyed life a bit more.

Great show except the last season.

I thought it was a good show whenever I caught an episode. Unfortunately, it can't exist in canon with the first Highlander movie (there can be only one), so I didn't watch it regularly. I hope the reboot will allow for sequels and more storytelling.

Great series, but you do have to get past the first episode and Richard Moll chewing the scenery. It's upward from there, expecially with all the recurring characters/actors.
