SUCCESS REPORT: For the past few months, a grey Haval Jolion has been actively targeting Toyota Corolla Cross vehicles across Gauteng, operating in multiple regions including the West Rand, Johannesburg, the East Rand, and Johannesburg South. On 22 September, intelligence directed operational teams to the East Rand, where the suspect vehicle was observed scouting for more than an hour in search of a Toyota Corolla Cross to steal. Eventually, the suspects successfully stole a white Toyota Corolla Cross outside Kempton Park Court. Strategically positioned teams monitored exit points in anticipation of both the stolen and pilot vehicles. The suspects later abandoned the stolen Toyota Corolla Cross, which was promptly recovered by the teams. Shortly thereafter, the grey Haval Jolion was intercepted and pulled over, resulting in the successful arrest of three suspects — including a female suspect. Previous intelligence had indicated the involvement of a female driver piloting stolen vehicles using the Haval Jolion. WATCH: SAPS members got caught trying to plan drugs on a motorist’s vehicle after he was stopped by the SAPS member to search his vehicle. The driver noticed that SAPS members had a white power in a small plastic, which they were attempting to plant in his car, the driver was coming from work. When the driver asked them why are they planting drugs in his car, they failed to answer, instead they started making calls and the driver was not arrested. The male SAPS member can be seen playing with a white substance packaged in small plastic bag. It is unclear how many people have been the victims of this SAPS crimes.

SAPS have confiscated counterfeit high-end clothing items worth over R15 million during an operation conducted in the Durban CBD on Thursday morning. At least four suspects, who are all foreign nationals, have been arrested in the operation, which is still ongoing. The suspects' immigration status in the country is yet to be confirmed. Once processed, the suspects will be taken to court to face charges related to the possession and distribution of counterfeit goods.

Two SAPS officers were rescued on Tuesday after a mob surrounded their vehicle in Ndwedwe and threatened to set it alight while they transported a murder suspect. The officers were trapped for about an hour as roads were barricaded and armed individuals blocked their exit. RUSA Reaction Officers Nathi Ndaba and Philani Mkhulisi had earlier arrested the suspect, who was wanted for murdering a 22-year-old man. He was found hiding under a bed and handed to SAPS without incident. A crowd then gathered, demanding the suspect.
