Hillside Endarasha is not the first school fire in Kenya. Rules now require dorms to have 2 doors, an emergency exit, fire extinguishers and more. So how did 17 boys get burnt beyond recognition in a dorm that held 156 learners?

156 boys in one big room is a disaster on its own. Someone must be responsible. Someone must be held accountable. This should not have happened. It should not happen again. We demand for the truth.

The management must be held accountable. How can a dormitory have one exit? that was a recipe for disaster.

Gen Z wanataka kuchoma nchi. Fuck all of you Kenyans. Hizi ndo vitu revolution ilikua ina fix. Lakini because you are all clouded by tribalism (mtu wetu syndrome) fuck all of you.

Just abolish boarding schools that an old model of learning

you send your children to school and maybe when you’re out hustling you hear the news from a neighbor…rush to school praying that your child is safe but unfortunately life had other plans💔May their parents find peace 💔RIP

All I can blame is the design of this Kenyan domitories , they are always built without emergency exit incase of such emergency. It is possible that this children died while trying to escape through one door.

I suspect there was a jiko in there to keep them warm.

Boarding schools should be banned.
