The Old Trails Fire in Spokane, Washington will likely be the city’s worst disaster since the Great Fire (August 4, 1889), which destroyed 30 city blocks. Reports this evening of multiple neighborhoods with homes burning, and a massive fire and emergency response inside the city. The National Guard has been activated, and nearly 2,500 acres have been burned so far, punching right through parts of the city. Extreme fire weather continues through the weekend. I will have a full update on the situation on tomorrow mornings show. Thanks to the subscribers who shared these views of the fire.
