The first four days of the Trump Administration have been packed with news. That's why I'm excited to launch: @the47focus, a daily (M-F) newsletter delivered at ~noon that highlights the story of the day from the 47th President. Subscribe now:

All sanctions do is boost the economy of the country they are placed on. Less stuff being imported means more companies opening their own manufacturing and creating thousands of jobs

US and West keep isolating themselves and making China great

Wow! They are avoiding the Ocean route because the US control it!

10 or 15 years from now that'll be high speed rail and it'll take a single day.

Those solar panels have remote off switches

the 17 sanction packages on Russia already showed sanctions don't work

Kinda funny that Russia’s largest propaganda channel has like 30 replies. Also, yes, sanctions work by cumulatively diminishing economic growth, and also ships allow for much greater economies of scale.

If sanctions don’t work, China/Iran needs to stop begging the US to lift sanctions 🙃

15 days on train that's good next China will make faster trains for this and half it...
