In 2019, we translated the following video of a summer camp in Turkey.... The woman at a summer camp encouraged the Islamic children in a troop to chant: "Death to the Jews," "Death to the Jews," and "Jews Die." “Palestine will be set free,” etc. At the time, I asked, 'Why won't the left condemn this hate & brainwashing? Instead, they vilify those of us exposing it!' Since then, America has continued to open our borders to those who attend camps, mosques, and Islamic schools all across the Middle East that teach this same type of hatred. (It's in their holy books - have you read the Qur'an - Christians and Jews are not considered fully human in Islam.) Now, all of a sudden, people are shocked by the rampant Islamic antisemitism and hatred of America taking place across the country? We imported this!

This is utterly sickening to watch. Their unrepentant, gleeful hatred is the precursor to the violence we are experiencing in our country and it must be stamped out. These two medical professionals employed by NSW Health must be identified and immediately removed from any scenario in which they could give effect to their threats and their murderous intent. No doubt we will see the defence that Jews have brought this hatred upon themselves through Israel’s war in Gaza. That these people are merely traumatised from the images of the war. They have it backwards. It is this hatred and dehumanisation of Jews that causes wars and the carnage of October 7 and if left unchecked it will further degrade our society. Time for consequences.

Zionism stands for a very simple proposition. It doesn't stand for the proposition that Jews are better than everybody else or that Jews are worse than everybody else. It stands for the very common sense proposition that Jews are the same as everybody else, that we have the same rights as other peoples do to live in our ancestral homeland. And so it's very bizarre when people say they're anti-Zionists and claim at the same time not to be anti-Semites. What you’re saying, if you’re an anti-Zionist, is that Bulgarians have the right to live in Bulgaria, Japanese people have the right to live in Japan, Irish people have the right to live in Ireland, and maybe even Palestinians have the right to live in what they call Palestine—but Jews don’t. Jews alone are denied the same rights as everyone else. Well, that's just anti-Semitism, plain and simple, the oldest kind of hatred there is.

Criticising Israel, the way one would criticise any other country, is legitimate. Denying its right to exist and calling for its destruction is not. By doing that, you deny Jews the right to their homeland – the same right afforded to everyone else. That is antisemitic. The sentiments at the Palestine demonstrations that are not only tolerated but encouraged have escalated hatred against Jews to unprecedented heights. We need urgent action from our Government. The time for talk is over.

I never thought Bondi Beach would be on the list of the worst attacks against Jews. This place was once my home. Now it carries a meaning I never imagined it would. When people chant “globalize the intifada,” this is what it looks like. Not protest. Not politics. Violence against Jews for being Jews. For the past two years, Jewish families everywhere have been asking the same question: are we safe here? That question is being asked in Sydney, just like it’s being asked around the world. History has taught us this conversation far too well. But this time, something is different. We have a state. We have a homeland. And we are not going anywhere. Am Yisrael Chai.
