It's a "waste of Judaism" because Judaism hasn't traditionally sought a literal instantiation of an earthly Jewish Jerusalem. It's only in modern times that it's been subverted away from the long-held religious understanding that Jews will attain paradisaical Jerusalem after 'the transition'. Why should the Christians do the bidding for the Jewish community? If Jewish people want to invade and colonise land, then they should not get the backing of any country. Why is it wrong for Russia to invade Ukraine, but not Israel Palestine?
