Hoffman Middle School What are your thoughts?

Bet it’s hard to teach a bunch of disrespectful kids. I feel bad for the kids that are there to learn and can’t because of disrespectful peers. Yes, it’s wrong she lost her cool but this is happening a lot people aren’t disciplining their kids. Schools don’t discipline either.

Y’all don’t come for me but I don’t blame her. These kids don’t treat these teachers right. They talk to them crazy because they aren’t their parents. I couldn’t be a teacher because I would probably end up saying the same stuff she just said.

Sounds like a teacher that's been pushed too far with no support from her students parents or admins to get the kids to do their work. Teachers are way notoriously underpaid for all that is expected of them. The only complaint she could be more articulated and not swear at kids

Everything she said was legitimate. What’s sad is some parents will get up in arms that she said some cuss words when their kids or them probably say worse. There are many kids that want to learn or at least are fine with trying, but too many that won’t. They need to wake up!

This should be played on a loop for any politician who thinks the answer to school shootings is arming teachers.

I taught pre-k about 14 years ago. I had a kid biting me, spitting in my face, throwing tables. Admins do not care, even in private schools. They offer next to no support. Luckily 90% of my kids were excellent and a joy, but that 10% takes all your energy. It SUCKS!
