Fabulous our current systems are lacking. Shelter dogs need to get out to run min 2x per day with other dogs (when) possible. A dog isolated in a room is super stressful. They are meant to socialize. If they run & get tired they sleep better just like people.

Los Angeles Animal Shelters have been broken for years. South LA Shelter is one of the worse. They are in lockdown right now becuase the supervisors are not qualified to run a shelter and dogs can't leave their kennels for weeks. Dogs are being murdered one by one now.

This woman went to visit this dog shelter that apparently most people don’t know even exists. She was fortunate to go right when they were set to have their play time. Look at all those beautiful dogs who just want a hug. 💔 This shelter gets no visitors and has less than 5 adoptions each month. Less than 5! Let’s help rescue these dogs and clear their shelter. They are in a rural part of Georgia. Do you know someone looking for a dog? Anyone in Georgia or close by? Or maybe you are due for an overdue road trip?

“My heart melted today when I saw tthe shelter let Bella and Zeus co-kennel. These two siblings both lack confidence, but you can just see how happy they are now that they're reunited. I can only imagine how hard it is going from a home to a loud, stressful shelter and then separated. I know it's not always realistic for bonded dogs to be adopted together, but wouldn't it be so beautiful to see these two get their fresh start side by side? If anyone is looking for not just a dog, but two, Bella and Zeus are perfect.
