Anybody who saw these guys fistfight in front of the Portland ICE building last night knew it was coming. They were jawing at eachother for 30+ minutes straight. There was zero attempt by Portland police to de-escalate or intervene. Guy ended up getting rocked. What if he had fallen and hit his head & died or gotten seriously injured? There were two Portland police liaisons watching from across the street the whole time. They did nothing. Look at the red circle in the back of this video we shot. That’s a Portland Police liaison in the white shirt on the street corner. They saw the whole fight & lead up to it and did nothing. It was the Feds who had to come out and give the man medical treatment even though it wasn’t their jurisdiction on the street in front of the federal building. Nick Sortor points out that neither of the men who fought were arrested by Portland police, but he was.
