I like smart people like @NuanceBro have a different take on this. But if I'm getting carjacked, carrying or not, they can have it. The car is insured and I've seen too many videos of people who fight back getting murdered like this

Construction worker was in a no win situation, if he shot to protect property he’d be prosecuted, if he waited, or doesn’t fire, this can happen. The only winning option was do nothing, let police deal with it, property is never worth your life.
