🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

Mark's full statement regarding the recent issue : Before we actually get into the music though, there have been some things that I wanted to say to you guys directly. It spent on my mind and I just felt like I had to get this off my chest and so I just felt like I had to turn this live on on and to really just tell you guys how we felt regarding the T-shirt with the confederate flag on it, I am aware of the pain that it brought to a lot of people, especially to my black fans, to the Black community and I should have, I am very responsible for it, but I really wanted to directly tell you guys that it really wasn't my intention with me knowing the meaning of the flag, the historical significance of it, it really shouldn't have happened. And it really does not reflect who I am as a person. But seeing so many fans being hurt by it, it really hurt me as well. I had no intention knowing the meaning of the flag, and I should have, there are no excuses to that. But I just wanted to promise you guys directly that something like that will never happen again with me and my whole team we have made, we have taken steps to make sure that something like that doesn't happen, but I just, and I know that a lot of people have been waiting for me to kind of address this directly and I've been sitting on this for a while and I really wanted to get this off my chest and so I thought today was at the right time for me to tell you guys. It rained so much, and originally… This time, I really wanted to try this new production, even if it meant removing some of the dance parts to make it happen. I put a lot of effort into it. But the smoke from the fireworks didn’t come out well, and there were parts that didn’t work as planned. Because of the weather, there was no wind, so normally it would have dispersed well when it appeared… that was a bit disappointing. 🐥: At the same time, while I really wanted everyone to enjoy it, I also felt a lot of worry before going on stage today. As I said on stage, it was a bit burdensome and difficult. I wanted to see it go well even more than anything…I felt like I had to perform well and repay everyone’s waiting with a good performance. Trespassing just turned 12 years old, and it got me thinking about how I was the first openly queer artist to debut at number 1 on the billboard Hot 200 with the Trespassing album. Kind of surreal to think that this milestone was only achieved 12 years ago! There is still work to be done in terms of equality, but it feels good to see so many queer artists get the flowers they deserve these days. Anyways happy (slightly belated) 12th birthday to the album which featured this title track I co-wrote with Pharrell Williams. “No trespassing? Yeah, my ass! Wait till ya get a load of me"

Back then, I went to castings around 10–20 times, but I only got 1–2 jobs, sometimes I didn’t get any jobs. Sometimes I had to wait since the morning, but my casting was at night. I’m going to casting after school It was a time when I felt really discouraged because no matter how many castings I went to, I didn’t get any jobs. So I started to reflect on myself or my acting skill isn’t good enough? Or something I can improve myself. When I tried I made it through many rounds, but I still didn’t get the job in the end it make me feel like being actor isn’t my way. But one thing has always stayed with me I never give up.
