Vision is an absolute marvel of Divine Engineering. It requires a minimum of 3 systems working together from the start, or we don't see. 1. Eyes to capture light & convert into signals 2. Pathways to transport the signal 3. A brain to process it Evolution can't build it one step at a time, because there is no vision until all those systems exist and function together. Compounding the complexity further, each of those 3 systems themselves require a minimum number of more complex subsystems to function properly. For instance, all eyes require opsin proteins. Opsin is a highly complex protein that holds a special light-sensitive molecule called retinal; when a single photon hits the retinal, it instantly flips shape, triggering the opsin to change its 3D shape and trigger a precise cascade which converts the light into an electrical signal to be sent to the brain where it can be understood as vision. Opsin alone, is useless. It needs the retinal molecule plus the full cascade, or it does nothing. This is the case with ALL vision systems, confirmed over and over again the lab. No partially formed system produces any vision, or any other function for that matter. Many uninformed Evolutionists attempt to argue that we see different levels of complexity in vision systems, which they say is evidence that vision evolved gradually from simpler systems. But the evolutionary scientists themselves refute this. Even the very simplest possible system of vision - the infamous "light sensitive cell" - still relies on a similar highly complex, interconnected network of proteins and other molecules. Mainstream evolutionary science even teaches that vision systems evolved independently, from scratch, at least 40 different times. Since 1999 I have been a personal witness to protests, demonstrations and shutdowns on eve of reopening of civil secretariat in Jammu as part of the Darbar Move. This has happened year after year before that as well. Jammu would express its mandatory anger against the Kashmiri leaders. On several occasions heavy security bandobast had to be made along Residency Road or Circular Road to ensure safe passage for Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues. A little semblance of calm heralded only after BJP signed in to the government in 2015. Never did I imagine a scene like this morning. Earlier I thought that the National Conference had arranged its own people for an artificial ceremonial look. But that was not the case. City’s notables, including the Chamber leadership, a close BJP ally, were part of the celebrations as Omar Abdullah restores Darbar Move after four years, though it still remains a truncated version of the original practice sustained over a century and a half.

I don't think Powell's gonna do it. From the CPI, you got a 95% chance of a 25 basis point reduction in September, but that's it. The economy's on fire. We're killing it and the consumer is still strong given that data last week from credit cards. You're not going to see rate reductions with this strength in the economy right now. There's nothing wrong with the economy and that's why I'm, I don't think we're going to get any rate cuts beyond the 25 bps. I look at the odds, it's 95% for 125 basis points. I am not investing on the hopes of any rate cuts this year. I don't agree on the 15% tariff or reverse tax or industrial policy on American chip makers going into China. I mean, it's a very strange policy. Pick one country, tax chips going in there. I don't like it. I would prefer to see policy like this that simply says to these companies, you're allowed to sell chips anywhere in the world you want one generation back.

It simply isn't good enough that there isn't a power to suspend an Ombudsman, Commissioner or public appointee on the commencement of a civil or criminal investigation. When this gap in the legislation came to light over a year ago, I moved immediately to see what actions we could take. I am pleased to have secured the support within the Executive Office on bringing forward new legislation to address this gap and ensure we can suspend any Ombudsman, Commissioner and public appointee if a formal civil or criminal investigation is commenced. New legislation takes time, that is why the DUP is taking additional action. Diane Forsythe MLA is taking the lead for the DUP on an amendment to legislation currently going through the assembly and has been working with drafters on an amendment to bring this in as soon as possible.
