A #DistrictHeating system will see the hot water pumped into insulated pipes and transported to buildings in Ringsend, Pearse St, and the Georgian Quarter--where we can't use typical retrofitting techniques like external cladding. (2/2) 🔗

We've the highest electricity prices in Europe and you're sitting on your hands. 🙄

Most of the rubbish burnt comes from your Green bin which is supposed to be recycled, you left that bit out

I'm curious to know the reason you declined to appear on tonight's #rtept when asked? The topic was about the costs of electricity (which btw are the highest in the EU)...I thought you were supposed to be the minister in charge & therefore answerable? What an absolute joke 😑

Why do you always sound like you're talking to children

Burning rubbish for energy is crazy. It’s one of the worst forms of power generation. It’s expensive, inefficient, polluting and distracts from better material use and recycling.

Whatever this is will most likely turn to crap and cost low income families an absolute fortune. How do I know this? I know it because it's what happens to everything that The Greens under the leadership of Eamon Ryan touches. It's as if it is the Greens ultimate goal.

Nothing like a bit of low-carbon hot water, heated by burning plastic bottles in the middle of a city.

Fuck off.
