It’s a long time since I saw so many bikes outside a school. I had the pleasure of launching the country’s first safe “School Street” at Scoil Iognaid in #Galway City today. The kids say that they now feel calm & happy coming to school. Another great reason to #KeepGoingGreen

When the Dart was first proposed in Dublin, people labeled it a “Rolls Royce” solution that the city would never need. It’s clear today that those people were wrong. I can’t think of a public transport project that we’ve had to withdraw because of a lack of demand.
