I am fully in favor of eliminating the Department of Education and sending those dollars directly to the states.

Here’s the bottom line: We need national school choice. The teachers unions working in government schools hate competition. My priorities are on improving educational outcomes for families, and that’s exactly where we need to focus when spending federal dollars on education.
