Thanks to the Grimsby Labour MP for the publicity in PMQs today. She was grandstanding and having a go at my pushing back on the cosy consensus Net Zero policies that have had no scrutiny. But she failed to mention her old Paymasters were the renewable energy sector, of which she was a Deputy Chief Executive. Whilst I am standing up for the people of Lincolnshire and am working on a plan to ensure we move the dial to a more balanced economy. My focus is a plan for growth, jobs, infrastructure, and skills to ensure the county can thrive for generations. It's time to clean up politics and fight for the people, not perceived vested interests.

So Biden administration put in a temporary protection order for 350,000 Haitians. It was done through executive order, so there was no vote, there was no law, there was no legislation. It was just the Biden administration saying, I wanna give these people temporary protected status, which he's allowed to do. Now, when Trump came in office, he could have created an executive order and got rid of it, but he said, I'm not even gonna do that. I'm just gonna let it expire. Like, this is not the Trump administration doing anything. They are just letting the policy from Biden expire when it was supposed to. However, a Washington DC based federal judge, Ana Reyes, who is a Biden appointee, has blocked the Department of Homeland Security from ending temporary protected status, which is, I hate the way that's worded because that's not what they did. And now you have a judge who basically says, You don't get to do that. You don't get to let executive orders expire. That is f*cking insane. This isn't a law. This isn't legislation.
