I joined ADC on the basis that prominent members of opposition parties in Nigeria decided to form a broad coalition of forces against the APC cankerworm that has almost destroyed our economy, social cohesion, religious tolerance and democratic institutions and separation of powers. It would be foolhardy not to see that with the manner APC has turned OSUN State into a theater of war, the only sensible STRATEGY is for all opposition parties to align immediately and back the ACCORD party candidate GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE. I make this declaration without equivocation, or any fear of contradiction. This is not based on friendship or family ties. Governor Adeleke has been a global phenomenon who would easily defeat President Tinubu himself in a popularity contest. Adeleke is primus inter pares amongst Nigerian Governors, in order of extraordinary performance in infrastructure, health, education, staff welfare, labour unions, IGR, agriculture, commerce, culture, women empowerment, youth integration, etc. We should never supply the APC an easy alibi to rig the OSUN gubernatorial election on August 15, 2026... GOD bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬

Do not be deceived by his ant voice, he is a billionaire and was the first person to win a national assembly seat back to back using ADC. He did it in 2019, defeating APC, PDP and other parties to win the 2019 Yagba Federal Constituency election in Kogi State. He repeated it in 2023. So, he's no push over. It is truly disappointing that the Lagos APC is abusing state institutions by sealing off the venue where the ADC was scheduled to hold a meeting tomorrow after obtaining the necessary approvals. This is not only an abuse of power, it is a clear attempt to stifle opposition voices in Lagos. We understand that the APC is jittery about the momentum the ADC and obidients is building across the state, but deploying state security agencies to frustrate lawful political activities is unacceptable and undemocratic. Lagos belongs to all of us, not a select few. And it is our constitutional right to assemble lawfully. Let it be clear that no amount of intimidation or harassment will stop us from engaging with the people of Lagos. The resistance of the North to agitation that Peter Obi should be handed the ticket of ADC without primaries is growing each day. The time to stop is now. Those pushing such agenda are doing a lot of arm to PO ambition. There is this assumption amongst Nigerians that PO has come to destroy the ADC with his supporters because of they way they hardly attack APC but always up in arms against coalitions members. To be honest, PO needs to caution his supporters if truly he is not enjoying the drama.

I am happy that some of us have emerged from the ashes of the ruins of APC and PDP to chart a new and different coarse for the nation. It is a long journey, however, we have taken the first step in the right direction. As we can see, APC is demonstrating the Samson Complex by trying to pull down the nation on its head as its last act of political savagery. Nigeria is bleeding and the people are groaning. But the APC government is feasting. The question on everyone’s lips is whether Nigeria will survive the four years of this administration.

After the 2023 elections, many PDP chieftains that worked with Atiku Abubakar including the then Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Ibrahim Abdullahi, admitted that Peter Obi outperformed Atiku in every ramifications. Many of them even suggested that the only way Obi wasn't declared the winner was because of rigging (abracadabra). Peter Obi achieved this fit without any political structure on ground unlike Atiku that had many governors and many federal legislators. So it's very surprising and dishonest that in the build up to the 2027 elections, that we are even arguing about who should get the ticket of ADC in terms of the candidate who can win. It's one of the most dishonest situations I have seen in recent times. Obi and Atiku are not even close in terms of who can win Tinubu in 2027. Obi is way ahead of Atiku. You can bring your so-called permutations which do not make sense. We heard and saw much more of those outdated permutations in 2023 and Obi smashed all of them. One would have thought that that was going to teach you guys some lessons. ADC, if you want to win this election, it's not negotiable; Obi should have the ticket through consensus. #PeterObiOrNothing

Tinubu froze Osun LGA accounts & allowed Oyetola’s men to kill Adeleke’s men. The EFCC froze Osun State bank accounts. The APC bought votes for 20,000 & 50,000 Naira. We saw Osun people say it live on cameras. They sang for the defeated Senate President & APC governors on their shameful exit from Osun. More than 22 APC governors & 57 lawmakers invaded Osun State with their thugs & police escorts. President Jonathan is right for admonishing them thoroughly in his tweet. Serving governors invading another state during elections is an aberration. We saw the illiterate Monday Okpebholo & his thugs try to intimidate Imole Adeleke, Davido, & the powerful people of Osun State. The truth remains that the APC used federal might in Osun, but the people’s might was stronger. In the end, the people’s might prevailed. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is vindictive & power drunk.
