Which is why SpaceX uses Methane as fuel. You can get to Mars on cow farts, but you need to get back as well. Methane is the only fuel you can generate wherever there's life. So we'll fly back on our own farts. Cool stuff.

Very cool but not realistic for most situations without an input of 'fuel'. It requires 6 KG of food waste per day as fuel. Thats an insane amount of food/scraps.
