Bitcoin without internet sounds impossible… Until you realize a transaction can travel by radio or satellite and reach the network another way. ⚡ No internet connection doesn’t mean no way to communicate.

This is one of the most underrated parts of Bitcoin. Satellite block feeds and mesh radio setups mean you can still receive blocks and broadcast transactions during an outage or a shutdown. Has anyone here actually tried it?

Sending is the easy half: a signed transaction is a few hundred bytes and needs one hop to anyone online, mesh radio or SMS will do. Receiving is the hard half, because you cannot verify you were paid without a node, and that still needs the internet or a satellite feed like Blockstream's.
