Making me tear up 1st thing in the morning lol. Dogs are the absolute best! If they don't trust you, I definitely don't trust you.

My dogs (Golden Retrievers) are complete tards, and they say dogs ultimately reflect the personality of their owner. So ya, I guess it makes sense.

Growing up, we always had a dog. My family to date has always had a dog. My kids have always had a dog. They have always been our best friends. They have short lives, yet they make a lasting influence.

They are truly Angels 😇 on Earth 🌎

I had JoJo and Brandy, my two Boykin Spaniels that never left my daughter’s side. They even supervised diaper changes. They considered her a pup.

One wrong poke, wrong pull, sudden move, and the cuteness is gone. The week before I was due with my child, we gave our expense documented small poodle, we had him for four years, to a family member in another state. The dog knew them well. But no pets when you bring home a baby.

If they could talk with their mouths they would say this is my human and I love you. But since they can’t talk they show it.

I have loved each dog I’ve been lucky to have.

Dog & a baby is the best combination on earth. Not even debatable.

Children who grow up with pets often have higher empathy and compassion, too. Everyone wins from that bond of love ❤️.

Be careful with your children, dogs can be unpredictable. Especially if a child should crawl into the cage, the dog could be territorial. There's all kinds of reasons things go wrong. A dog could be jealous and you don't know it until it lashes out at the child. You must be careful. The same goes for a cat they can take out your child's cornea in about one second. Face-to-face encounters for babies and toddlers should be a no-no. Don't get me wrong I love animals. A blind and disfigured child could've been avoided with just a little bit of caution.

I love that that kinda makes me soft, dogs are something else.
