No person’s happiness should come at the cost of another. The arrogance, superiority, ego, hate and acts of violence throughout recorded history and across the world by ‘white men’ is at a level and quantity it would take my lifetime to study, and why would anyone give the time required to understand the past? Therewith in the problem. They don't. Bad opinions and acts will be defended in spite of the fact they come from a defensive, naive and egotistical position, not one of empathy or grounded with any desire to ensure we never again repeat the atrocities of the past, AND THIS REQUIRES KNOWING THE ENEMY that was allowed to breed and thrive for hundreds of years, and an evil we have not slayed, still alive today in South africa and being fed by pockets of people. Not everyone is racist, prejudice or entitled, but the bad apples ruin the basket. You cannot solve a problem you are not prepared to call by name, and good people need to speak out and set an example, WE MUST BE LOUDER AND BOLDER because there are those who are petrified that the good will unite and do what they were not strong enough (therefore making them look weak) or willing to do, making them look selfish, so they agitate our environment hindering our progress and ability to heel. There are others who profit off our divide, and they actively impede our harmony. Racism has no place in my present or future, nor does any prejudice against a person’s sexual preference, religion or liberties as a human being. I will do my best to educate myself and show tolerance. I will be inspired by the lessons and excitement a diverse culture offers. Truly on this point, South Africa is one of a kind and the best place to be. I will stand up and address those who don't wish to honour the rights of others. I will arm myself, but not with weapons, words of hate, oppressive legislation or opportunities afforded by wealth, but with information to offer anyone who wishes to engage and share a desire to no longer be ignorant and prioritise our unity over our differences. I will show bravery without violence. My mother once said something to me: "you always pick a fight". I said to her: "imagine if I didnt". I'd rather be alone than with people who enable suffering.

How did Black South Africans not get rich? They protest instead of building something useful

If white South Africans were wealthy, we would be travelling the world, not working our butts off daily. imo

Some of the pension funds tht where affected were Soweto city council pension fund, SALA pension fund, DiepMeadow pension fund n other municipal pensions tht were administered by Alexander Forbes, Old Mutual, Alan Grey, Sanlam. All members of these funds are currently suffering.

Not all of them. People of all races become wealthy by having good jobs and by making wise financial decisions. Saving, investing, living within their means.

Europeans conquered these lands. It stands to reason that this would lead to preferential treatment & wealth disparities. We can’t change the past so let’s rather focus on addressing the social ills of today that are impacting our ability to be competitive as a community
