How different skin tones react to different colors

Pretty sure that's just the camera auto-adjusting exposure and white balance....

Skin’s a mood ring for colors, huh

It’s not the skin tones reacting, it’s the light.

This was definitely a cool experiment ✨

Love how colors come alive on different skin tones! 🌈✨

Much of this is the camera's auto exposure method coping with the changing amount and hue of light it's taking in

Skin tones shift like this because digital cameras have limitations in how they read color and handle auto exposure. Human eyes are far better at adjusting to different lighting, so we don’t see this effect in real life.

Absolutely fascinating research – colors and skin tones are so vibrant!

Same vibe

If you have half a brain you can see the camera exposure changing. Think you are SO SMART. Do the same damn thing with pro lighting. It would probably help your supposed cause if you weren't only worried about clicks.

Skin tone theory is real, but what we're mainly seeing here is auto white balance.

Im pasty white

color theory really said ‘some of yall shouldn’t wear yellow

its the way the camera processes the light

This explains why I keep buying clothes the mannequin lied to me about 🤷♂️

let me fix it, how camera lenses react to light reflected from different tones

Anyone seen hair there

this is fake af

Its camera.

This is the camera adjusting its white balance and exposure

i love watching the videos of people paying stylists to color match their wardrobe with their right tones they flatter their skin

idiot it's the camera exposure reacting.

It's the camera auto-adjusting ...

It would be cooler if the Auto White Balance feature of the camera was set off.

i’ll never understand the pinky nail🤢🤮

wtf is that?

So wearing primary colours reduces skin tone contrast

are the different skin tones in the room with us right now?????

Beautiful stuff
