Here is a breakdown (kind of) how I did this effect for live2d Vtuber model art. I’ve drawn the lips, you would have to separate top and bottom though and added a cyan layer which will be my mask and the mask for the rigger to clip on. Then I added a shiny add layer on top and used the cyan layer as a mask, just to test the effect in procreate, you would have to delete the black/white procreate mask for the rigger because this can cause issues. If you have any questions feels free to ask. 💕

Why is $NVDA letting NemoClaw run on any chip? Because Jensen is no longer trying to win only at the silicon layer against $AMD, $GOOGL TPUs or $AMZN Trainium but trying to own the orchestration layer above the hardware. 🎓Learn how to create a powerful Torn Fabric smart material in a matter of seconds in my latest video series (AAA) Pro Tips! This smart material can be used on virtually any 3D asset. ____________________________________________________ In this video, the steps are as follows: 1. Create a base fill layer containing no information. We will use this layer to call out the core effects. Add a black mask to this layer and inside that mask add a paint layer and draw a simple pill shape. 2. Next, add a blur directional and be sure the direction is the same direction that your fabric is flowing to. 3. Add a UV border generator set to subtract to mask out any uv seams followed by an anchorpoint. Additionally, add a messy Fibers 3 fill layer set to overlay. 4. Use a levels to adjust the mask along with a sharpen filter. A warp filter should also be added to introduce some randomness. Add an anchor point at the top of the mask as well. 5. Create another fill layer with its opacity channel set to black and apply a black mask to the fill layer. Inside its mask retrieve the anchorpoint information from the previous fill layer. 6. Create an additional fill layer with a bright diffuse color along with a black mask applied to it. Add the anchorpoint information from the previous mask into its mask as well and this should give us some white fibers on the edges. You can now use Blender Fasthenry to do PCB layout studies, calculate impedances of loops and return paths and determine how many vias you need! This demo shows how the impedance of DC decoupling capacitor is impacted by its distance from the IC, and the number of vias under the IC and near the capacitor. This is for a two-layer 1.6mm PCB at 1MHz. Most people are investing in layer four and ignoring layers one through three entirely. He called it the five-layer cake. Layer one is energy. How annoying is it when you can't find a company's logo in SVG format? I use a quick hack in Figma that lets me easily change the logo's color to whatever I need. 1. Add a rectangle layer on top of the logo layer. 2. Right-click and create a mask for the logo layer. 3. Voilà.

We’ve spent a lot of time at The Daily Brief writing about the less-visible parts of electronics — semiconductors, PCBs, and everything around them. Recently, we spoke to Murali Srinivasa from Lion Circuits, someone who’s spent years actually making PCBs, to understand how they really work. One thing that stood out was just how complex phone PCBs are. The board inside your smartphone is about a millimetre thick, but inside that sliver are 50–60 layers of copper stacked together. Signals move between these layers through tiny drilled holes, connecting everything. So the “board” inside your phone isn’t really flat. It’s a dense vertical structure squeezed into the thickness of a credit card. Making this is brutally hard. If even one layer shifts by about 50 microns, roughly half the thickness of a human hair , the entire board is scrap. That’s why PCB manufacturing isn’t just about machines or money. It’s about years of accumulated, hands-on know-how. It also helps explain why China leads in PCBs, and why India still struggles. We recently released a podcast digging into all of this — how PCBs work, why they’re hard to make, and what India missed along the way. Today, Shenzhen alone has 2,000 PCB factories. India has 200.
