How do we fix the “walled garden” issue in existing appchain ecosystems? Until now, liquidity has either been fragmented, or these ecosystems are interoperable but saddled with friction. Polygon CDK (Chain Development Kit) fixes this.

Polygon CDK is an open-source and modular codebase that anyone, anywhere can use to launch their own ZK-powered L2 chain on Ethereum. By connecting to a common ZK bridge, every chain is also seamlessly interoperable – linked to the whole Polygon ecosystem.

Polygon CDK offers an environment for ZK L2 chain design. Devs can tailor-make chains according to their requirements by choosing Polygon CDK components: •rollup or validium mode •configurable data availability e.g. local, 3rd party, DAC •custom on-chain configs •+more

Polygon CDK is the evolution of Polygon Supernets, which offered projects the ability to operate sidechain-like appchain protocols. But Polygon CDK takes appchain design to a whole new level, enabling easy deployment of interoperable, ZK-powered Ethereum L2s.

Every chain developed using Polygon CDK is - by design - connected with every other Polygon chain. In practice, this allows for near-instant finality and cross-chain execution among all Polygon chains Native interoperability meets automatic, shared liquidity.

Chains deployed using Polygon CDK rely on the security of cryptography, rather than the social requirements and incentives necessary in fraud proofs. No need for users to run full nodes that check whether or not transactions are valid – chain states are proved by math.

@0xPolygonLabs Ooooof. Polygon continues to hammer nails into the coffin of other blockchain technologies.

@0xPolygonLabs Massiveeee!

@0xPolygonLabs Cosmos couldn't do it. Polkadot couldn't do it. Avalanche couldn't do it. Polygon is doing it.

@0xPolygonLabs Based 😎
