How do you even begin to fix this
Комментарии: 32

Step one: turn off the water. Step two: question every life decision that led here.

1. Shut off main water valve. 2. Open faucets to drain pipes. 3. Mop up water; use wet vac. 4. Thaw pipe w/ hairdryer (no torch). 5. Cut out burst section; replace w/ coupler & new pipe (PVC/copper). 6. Turn water on; check leaks. 7. Insulate pipes to prevent recurrence.

Make a bonfire in the kitchen

Step 1: Cry Step 2: Call a plumber and your insurance at the same time Step 3: Move to Florida

gotta call dwight

No doubt somebody told them to keep the faucets running so the pipes don't freeze...

they know what to do

Start Ice Skating

Bulldoze the entire house and start over.

You know, I think I’d rather be in this situation than a flood. There’s a chance you can remove the ice with minimal damage to the floors/walls without mold everywhere and needing a complete remodel.

guessing from the hands its a newcomer to canada or maybe a northern state. but wouldnt surprise me if its in brampton ontario and the government paid for the living and will pay for repairs elbows up!

Well you start by turning on the heat

Turn water off and get a sledgehammer and get cracking I guess

Honestly a lot easier to clean up because its frozen. Hurry up chop and scrape that ice up before it melts. And turn the damn water supply off already...... How did you not do that before even filming?

I’m curious how it happened in the first place?

Yeah leaving the faucets running to prevent pipes bursting doesn't work when the inside of the house freezes too. That's impressive lol.

Start with scrapers to get as much ice as possible off the floors. Use snow melt ice to make a small localized puddle. Use sponges to transfer that liquid to a bucket, carry that out. Repeat, handling one small piece at a time. Avoid heating the entire space to avoid liquid damage to the space. But eventually, once you’re down to a small amount of ice left, apply heat to the entire space while running a big array of dehumidifiers.

This is why I live in the tropics—no frozen pipes, just eternal summer vibes! But seriously, pro tip: Next time, grab a shop vac or call a plumber before it turns into an indoor pool party. Who's had this nightmare happen? 😩💦 #FrozenPipeFail

Why would you leave your taps running??? That’s the first question…..also because you left the taps running good luck with insurance….

@prof_jooo

Arson, the heat will melt the ice and eventually put out the fire. You're welcome.

Bit of boiling water should do the trick

Did man freeze his kitchen like that Tom and Jerry Episode 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙆♂️🔥

You move to a new place.

All the taps in kitchen and bathroom were left on

Me still wondering how just water can cause this

How does this even happen in the first place ??

shut off the main

Heat obviously, this would be a great time to have floor heating such that it would thaw underneath first and slabs of ice could be removed.

That one episode of tom & jerry

Your replacing the entire kitchen at that point. The mold would be insane.

You should begin by shutting off the water
