How do you feel about having different sleeping quarters than your spouse? As a happily married man, this wouldn’t work for me, but I get how it does for others. Some people snore, move around a lot, or even kick. Some people like their personal space.

I think I let a lot of things make me really sad but i I’ve noticed this thing where i sometimes protect people and i don’t know why i would like to think I have a lot of love for certain people in my life but to a certain extent that I want to be validated by them and then their actions of making me sad or feel sad is forgiving and I turn that around and I understand them and then i would probably blame myself.

I have been in politics since 2004, so I'd like to tell you a little bit about my experience. When I started, I used to see different types of politicians. Some had very smart ideas; others spoke really well. Some people would talk very deeply about issues such that they would almost give you a PhD thesis. And each politician has some balance of these qualities. When you read the newspapers, you'll say that one politician is an expert in his field or that he speaks really well. But soon after, I realised that people are not interested in how well a politician speaks or how well he thinks about something. Because before you speak or think about something, you have to feel it. And I discovered that what people actually want from politicians is their ability to feel for them. Often, this is not so obvious. Somebody thinking only about their future can give a good speech. Someone who thinks deeply about a subject can actually impress people because that's all he wants. However, feelings come from inside. It's an act of humility. When you see a farmer, do you see him just as a farmer or as a human being? Do you feel his fear that it might not rain?
