How do you get over spiritual laziness?

If you have spiritual laziness I suggest you read books from people that have been truly persecuted for Christ. The Soviets killed and tortured millions of our Brothers and Sisters. Many got out alive and wrote books. Not only do they cure spiritual laziness, but they kill the idea of communism in all forms. You get to see what tyranny truly is. May I suggest Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. He wrote many books and started VOM ministries. Voice Of The Martyrs. He’s passed on now, but his books are amazing. Tortured for Christ is his main book. He had a book on prison meditations from solitary confinement, they’re such powerful books that they will change you. VOM has been helping spread the gospel for decades. They do all kinds of illegal work around the world. Yes, there is still Bible smuggling needed.

I love this...this is the truth...this is what the spiritual trenches are!

Imagine characterising the spiritual life as violent. And this man is a bishop? It's astounding how poorly apprised many of the clergy are of Christ's message.
