How do you manage online distractions and reduce smartphone usage? I've started using apps to limit access to distracting apps, and it's been a big help. Would love to hear how you cope with it! #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #cozy #distractions

I only use my phone when I'm in bed or restroom. 🤣

That's a way, too! 😁

It’s not you—it’s your budgeting app. Ditch the complexity and discover intuitive tools that simplify saving and spending. Find the best budgeting apps in our article!

I recently got Airpods 4 ANC (I generally don't like having shit like headphones on my head) and it really makes me feel like I'm in a quiet place with better focus. It does it without any of the discomfort I've found with previous ANC sets I've tried.

Nice, might give that one a try!

Get use uBlock Origin and use the element picker to block stuff like YouTube comments and other time wasters. You can also create rules that block websites that you just go to to scroll.

It's also a lot about finding out what you tend to strive for constantly, and blocking that, right? Always a bit different for everyone. But having the tools at hand helps a lot.

Black screen, all useless apps in a folder hard to reach (like you have to swipe several times), moreover some phones permit you to disable the swipe up function to see all the apps. Notifications only on useful apps and read easy novels when you need to distract from work a bit

That's a hell of a masterplan to keep the devil away, great 😁❤️🙂

Which apps do you use to limit usage? Do you just use app limits (if you’re iOS)? 😄

Android, but it's ScreenZen. On the pc I'm thinking about disabling shopping websites to not search for no reason out of a weird habit 😁. But restricting mobile is key, at least for me.
