Farmers pay tax. I pay tax. We want to pay tax (as much as anyone else wants to pay tax) If we could afford the inheritance tax bill we would pay it. Like we pay everything else. We either have the inheritance tax rules reversed or we have to demand better prices for our produce to be able to pay the tax. Farmland can’t be and must not be sold to pay the tax. Food security is the priority for this country and we have to protect it. Here’s my thoughts on what we can do about this.

When I did speak to Konrad I tried to emphasize that it’s not just the gas cartels ripping us off, but every multinational both Australian and Foreign. As he says it went above his pay grade, but it’s not above mine. No one has more knowledge of the tax act and a more detailed set of tax policies than People First.
