This was peak television. I used to think watching this era “how could they one up themselves next series“ and they did every time, its so different now and it’s honestly disappointing.

I’m sorry but if the rani was revealed like this, it would’ve been so so dumb. Her and the master are not the same in terms of concept and character. It works for the Master, not for Rani

I would have absolutely loved to see Derek Jacobi play the Master in a few episodes.. His switch in this episode is imo amongst the best ever done... Utterly sinister at the end.
