GREEN LIGHT FOR STARTUP: U.S. Department of Energy has authorized Oklo’s Groves Isotope Test reactor to begin nuclear operations. This startup authorization clears the facility and team to bring in fuel, run startup tests, and proceed toward first criticality under its startup plan. In just over 10 months , Groves completed engineering, construction, commissioning, development of operating programs, personnel training, and DOE readiness across all core requirements. Oklo chose the harder path to build a repeatable deployment model on private land using commercially procured fuel and equipment so future Aurora powerhouses, isotope facilities, and fuel cycle projects can build on proven deployment capabilities instead of starting from scratch. Lessons from Groves are already informing how we build our other capabilities, demonstrating how advanced nuclear can move faster under DOE’s Reactor Pilot Program while keeping safety front and center. 1st devlog. (almost) raw, but still raw. build in public. roast me pls!!! — We’re building Under Realm: Rise of Magic , a grand strategy trading card game—but more than that, we’re rethinking how games are made. Traditional game development is top-down, slow, and often disconnected from the players who actually keep games alive. We’ve been in the industry long enough (i hope), as builder & gamer, to see how that plays out, and we wanted to try something different. At Metacraft Studio, we’re working on a tribal game framework—a way for players, creators, and token holders to co-build the game with us. Balance changes, new mechanics, even the game’s lore—players don’t just give feedback, they help shape it. It’s not an easy approach, but it makes the game feel alive, evolving in ways we could never predict alone. Under Realm is our first step toward this vision. We’ve spent almost 3 years silently refining it (and get ourselves mature first)—not chasing hype, but making something that’s "fun first", with deep strategy and a world worth caring about. Blockchain is just a tool we use to give players real ownership—because when you create something, you value it more. It’s still early, and we’re figuring things out as we go. But at its core, we’re building something that lasts—a game that grows with its players, not just for them.

🚨I actually loved seeing Bryan Mbeumo react the way he did when he got subbed for Benjamin Sesko. That little bit of frustration is hunger. That’s a player who wants to stay on the pitch, who backs himself, and who’s not satisfied with coming off. And honestly, that’s exactly the mentality you want at Manchester United. If anything, it sends the perfect message to the whole squad — nobody is guaranteed 90 minutes. If you’re not performing, you’re coming off. And this is where healthy competition comes in. Players pushing each other every single game, every training session, fighting for their place. That’s how standards rise, that’s how you build a winning team. If Mbeumo takes that reaction into the next game, works even harder, and comes back stronger — that’s a win for everyone. This is the kind of mentality we’ve been missing for years. #MUFC

🔵 CHELSEA POSITIONAL PRACTICE: 8v8+6 From Training Today under Xabi Alonso Chelsea featured this positional setup in training today, focusing on structure to build play centrally. 📐 Dimensions • Two zones: 26 × 24 yards • Central linking zone: 4 yards ⚽ How It Works • Teams adopt the designated positional structure • Complete a set number of passes to score • Transfer the ball into the opposite zone for a bonus point after the set amount of passes is achieved. • The pressing team must regain possession and complete a pass to reverse roles • After winning the ball, players quickly organise into the required structure 🎯 Coaching Points • Maintain the positional structure • Create clear passing angles • Scan before receiving • Move the ball quickly to break lines • Recognize when to transfer zones • React quickly after winning possession 📌 Save it and follow us for all things football. Rangers: Inverting James Penrice Rangers have struggled so far to progress play and really implement a "Style" to Build from the Back under McInnes. Last night we tried to invert James Penrice in the 1st Half, similar with Dragojevic v Jagiellonia, but that requires a lot of work. 1. Worked on the Training Pitch with the Team: > Allows the Player (Penrice) to Feel It > Helps the Player Understand WHEN & WHY > Allows CB's to Understand WHEN to Play It > Gives a Chance to CM's to see "Counter-Movements" Then the coaches can address any tweaks based on how Jablonec press & where the gaps are 2. Individual Work on Training Pitch (5-10mins) > Fullbacks are used to having pitch infront of them > Work on Back-Foot Receiving > Work on Playing Passes through Lines > Work on Driving Inside the Pitch > Underlapping from an Inside 8 Position & Crossing 3. 121 Analysis with the Analysts (15-20mins) > Show Player Visuals from Previous Game > Show Player Examples of Good Inverting (Ange Teams) It is very clear that we have just told James Penrice to play as an "Inverted Fullback" & not done any training ground preparation or in-depth 121 Analysis of it to help him. Absolutely none of that sits with James Penrice, I watched the work Ange Postecoglou did at Celtic with Harry Kewell on 121 work with Greg Taylor, Alastair Johnston & the other fullbacks.

If you're looking for a weekend project, how about training your own text-to-speech model from scratch on your own GPU, and then running it on any device's CPU? We just open-sourced the entire Pocket TTS training stack: data pipeline, recipes, and evals. It learns pretty damn fast: ~15k steps: babbling starts turning into words ~50k steps: it reads anything you type (WER under 1%) ~200k steps: the voice stops sounding synthetic On a beefy consumer GPU, that's a week of training. On eight H100s: 10-20 hours. A TTS training run will cost you less than $200 if you rent your hardware, and an order of magnitude less if you just pay for power. Some things we'd love to see people try: - Train it in your own language (a few hundred hours of speech gets you surprisingly far). - Add new features to Pocket TTS (Emotion tags? Make it sing?). - Beat us at our own game: make it faster and smaller. Show us what you build! We'll highlight the best models and new languages for the whole community to enjoy. As the ball travels across to the opposite centre back, the opposition number 10 jumps to press. In doing so, the number 10 blocks the passing lane into one pivot as he moved. But the staggered positioning in the pivot positions creates the solution, the ball side pivot stays behind the first line of pressure. The opposite pivot drops at an angle to receive. A passing lane opens around the pressing player who jumps to press. The team escapes pressure and progresses through the centre.
