$GOOGL launched Gemini 3.5 Flash which it says beats Gemini 3.1 Pro across coding, real-world agentic tasks & scaled tool use. Artificial Analysis shows it running at 289 output tokens/sec which is more than 4x faster than Claude Opus 4.7 & GPT-5.5.

Opus 4.8 just dropped and I ran it through our CAD tasks. 4.6 → 4.7 → 4.8 side by side. The results are unexpected!

Open Computer Agent - LLMs completing tasks using a VM. It's playground to test how well current LLM agents use a computer to solve everyday tasks. And this is just the start - very soon models will be 10x faster and 10x better at it! ❤️ built with e2b x qwen2.5-vl x smolagent

I think I finally found the sweet spot for long-running AI coding tasks: GLM 4.7 feels like Sonnet, costs ~20× less, and runs forever without melting your budget. Pair it with a good agent setup and it quietly does real work.

Computer use agents are slow and brittle. The fix isn’t just stronger models, but also deploying them as multi-agent systems. MACU is a general Multi-Agent Computer Use framework that consistently lifts success rates by 3.4-25.5% and is up to 1.5x faster on long-horizon tasks.🧵
