How in the heck do you do this without something like React?

I'm going to try with custom elements sometime, but first I've gotta finish and ship this thing

The same way React does it? The fuck you mean how do you do this without React? React isn't magical. Everything that it does can be done outside of React. I can do this in Vue, Svelte, jQuery, backbone.js, maybe not ECMAScript 3, but probably damn near close.

Vue, Svelte are "something like React" I didn't say you CAN'T 😂 I asked "how". There are so many little intricacies to a UI like this (in the context of the rest of the app where other things can happen during upload) that you'd easily screw up without something like React

most people using server frameworks are not building UIs like this

wait for 15 minutes and you’ll get 10 people telling you react is not needed and they can do all of it with vanilla js

I don’t know why these posts attract so much negativity. Just want to say that your work inspires me. Can’t fully imagine building smth so smooth for file upload yet. Waiting for the repo to learn. F js and react still
