On 23rd November 2023, when the late Francis Ogolla was still alive, he flew from Nairobi to Isiolo for the National Tree Planting Day, accompanied by Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo. Upon landing, Guyo introduced him to his clueless county officials. After the tree-planting exercise, Guyo greeted Ogolla and thanked him for gracing the event. As the area Governor, many expected him to remain behind, but instead, Guyo removed his gumboots and briskly walked back to board the same plane with Ogolla to Nairobi. So when Rigathi said that leaders from NFD beg for aircraft space from Nairobi and back to Nairobi, and that they don’t stay where they are elected, he meant it - pure truth. Via Almamy
