DOGSO all day long. No genuine attempt to play the ball and attacker would have an unobstructed shot at goal.

It's a clear red card, mate. Have you ever even kicked a ball or know the rules of football? Completely wipes out the attacker as the last defender, no attempt to go for the ball. Clearest red I've ever seen.

It was more of a nailed-on red than the first South Africa one, to be honest. Defender has just wiped him out here intentionally. Glad to see this punished - should happen more often.

I really don't understand the complaints about this. He undoubtedly gets a shot away or even squares it to a teammate in the middle. Just because he's slightly angled away from the goal, you can't say that's not a clear opportunity to score.

It’s the second red I had issue with. The Mexican player deliberately body checks the South African player who was moving at speed so as to be effectively struck by the Mexican by virtue of their relative speeds.
