This is a big problem Care homes for dementia patients are charging around £2000 per week yet family carers are paid just £80 per week and are supposed to survive on that. A friend of mine quit his job to care for his parents and received the equivalent. He explained that if they’d paid him £1000 a month he could have managed. Consequently, he returned to work and now the council pays over £6000 a month to a care agency. The care his parents receive is substandard and the carers are brought in from abroad. So, what’s the actual cost to the country? Family carers feel worthless and are treated that way .. the system is broken

He's honestly not the best dad, but he could have been worse. I still really hate him for how pathetic he was for leaving his family at their worst instead of being the man of the house. This man is a total coward. But he deserves the hate he gets. Still, he's not the worst human being possible, he's just scared, and he made horrible mistakes. You can tell how much he regrets it. He's trying to atone for his sins and be better. He's seeking forgiveness, even putting his life in danger for his blood in front of a being that could instantly kill him. Even though he's a total coward, he's still trying to protect his daughter. It makes me cry. I still hate this guy, but I also understand him. I don't know what to feel about him at this point.
